"Integrated Therapies - Grand
Prix Results for Horse &
Rider!"
About Us
Located in Davidson, North
Carolina, Horse Holistics provides
professional soft tissue therapy services
(bodywork) & offers holistic products for both humans and
equines. We travel to major horse shows throughout the
U.S. Our clients are located in every state from Maine to
Alaska. Our clinics and workshops are extremely popular and
offered throughout the U.S. (Contact us if you would like to attend
or host.)
As you can see by the
information included in our website, we strongly believe
in client education, professionalism, and what is
in your and your horse's best interests.
Our main focus is performance enhancement, prevention and
maintenance, through providing hands-on bodywork therapy
services. The naturally based products we offer are
carefully chosen for clients interested in enhancing their own
well-being and that of their equine friends. Simply
visit our and therapy pages to see what we can offer
you and your horse.
Why You Should Choose Horse
Holistics
There are
several good reasons to choose us as
your horse's provider of hands-on therapeutic
modalities. We offer professionalism, depth of knowledge and clinical
experience, a willingness to listen, and a desire and ability to
help. Our interest is only for the benefit of you and your
horse. When something is not right, we tell
you. When it's time to refer you to your veterinarian,
equine dentist, chiropractor, farrier, or saddle fitter; we
tell you.
Perhaps one of
the most important ways we set ourselves apart is that we are not
afraid to put our individual session findings in
writing. We have taken the extra step of
investing in special software to graphically
document our therapy sessions with your horse, so that you fully
understand (1) what we find, (2) which muscles specifically are
involved and their function, (3) the manual techniques we
used to treat the problem, and (4) what exercises we recommend
you use with your horse. This initial comprehensive
Equine
Therapy Report is given to
you, with a copy forwarded to your veterinarian for inclusion
in your horse's file. It is a very useful tool for
following your horse's progress. After every
follow-up ET session, you will either receive
an email recap or an Equine Physical Therapy Case
Record.
Most importantly, you will clearly see the results in
both your horse's physical and mental response to our
work. To schedule an appointment,

"My
love and admiration for animals and the ability to connect with them
began quite early on. They say, "The heart is a house with
many rooms." In my case, a whole wing is devoted to
the horse, to whom touch is so important. I can think of
few greater joys than developing and realizing a true partnership
with these wonderful creatures.
On mounted patrol, your effectiveness is put to the test
every day, where safety depends on teamwork and trust. Despite
being required to perform under extraordinarily unnatural
circumstances, the horse's generosity of spirit and willingness to
bond, never ceases to have a profound effect on
me. The same teamwork & unspoken trust are
required for a successful therapeutic outcome. The
practitioner must possess and communicate healing and the horse must
want to receive it.
There are
many reasons to receive regular
therapeutic bodywork. In the best circumstances, it
offers prevention of illness and injury. But it is often used
for restoring freedom of movement by unwinding mechanical
imbalances, enhancing physical well-being, helping them to
become and remain pain-free; all these reasons enable our
equine friends enjoy long and productive lives of
quality. These are ways we can help them. What a
wonderful way to repay their service and trust!"
